Job Description
Establishes and maintains avenues of communication for appropriate internal and external stakeholders including weekly status reports and quarterly and annual meetings. Identifies and addresses issues as needed. Communicates resolutions to appropriate parties.
Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis.
Gathers information to clarify and identify issues; guides staff in resolving issues or resolves issues to maintain productivity. Recommends process improvements to enhance employee performance and customer service.
Develops, implements, interprets and coordinates policies; ensures adherence and implementation of policies and procedures with internal and external clients; determines and implements, when appropriate, exceptions.
Works in conjunction with proposal team members to create presentations, documents, proposals, etc. in order to expand business opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or equivalent.
People management skills and minimum 10 years of IT experience. Analyzes procedural issues and areas of limited use; determines solutions and assists in their implementation. Manages overall technical and/or administrative of a major program or several smaller programs to ensure timely and cost effective accomplishments of business objectives.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication skills due to interaction with upper levels of management, as well as Problem detection and solving ability.
Good conflict management skills
Ability to be flexible and adaptable and work under pressure
Experience working with business solutions software and other appropriate applications.
Experience working with finance or accounting in order to conduct basic analyses
Experience working with process definition and reengineering
Experience working with standard computer equipment including configuration and peripherals.
Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of business development.
Experience working with inventory and customer service
